What the volunteers liked...
The presenters we had were amazing!
The presenters did a good job making the presentations "kid-friendly", the videos are great, the students love the food, the 5th graders helping with guiding and crowd control.
Countries with slide shows. Austria did a great job embedding video clips and music.
The artifacts, and pictures brought by the presenters were really helpful for the students to imagine how the countries look like, and what life looks like in every place.
The length of the presentations was very good. I liked having a fifth grade guide and the guidance they gave on which countries are available. It was great to have them go to the international fair first in the day so that they could give advice on which countries my class would enjoy most.
All the new countries!!! Iran, Argentina, Palestine. I saw more kids presenting with their parents, absolutely love this part.
I loved the diversity of the countries represented. It was well organized. The student helpers from 5th grade were great. I also like that the kids could present with us.
Kids who have parents participated in this event can present their country.
I like the student coordinators!
